Who we are

Host A Tiny is a marketplace that connects people looking for a place to park a tiny home with landowners in unincorporated San Diego County. Host A Tiny is operated by BossGirl.Pro LLC ("we", "us"), which is also the name that appears on your card statement.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and password (passwords are handled by the sign-in system, not stored in our own data), and, if you use Google or Apple sign-in, the basic profile details those providers share with us.
  • Search preferences (optional): preferred area, lease or buy, maximum budget and minimum acreage, used to recommend listings.
  • Landowner listings: listing title, description, area, address or cross streets, acreage, pricing, utilities, amenities, photos, and the contact name, email and phone number you enter.
  • Inquiries: your name, email, home type, desired move-in date and message, plus the listing you contacted.
  • Saved listings (favorites) and new-listing alert preferences.
  • Buyer-broker agreement: the name you type as your signature and the date you sign.
  • Discovery call bookings: your name, email, and the date and time you choose.
  • Payment records: product, amount, currency, date, order reference and your email. Your card details are entered on the payment provider's page and are not stored by us.
  • Trial and promo codes you redeem, and the resulting access status and expiration date.

How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account and give you access to browse listings.
  • To show, manage and recommend land listings.
  • To pass your inquiries to the landowner and notify them by email.
  • To send service emails, such as inquiry notifications, listing verification and new-listing alerts you turned on.
  • To schedule discovery calls.
  • To process subscription payments, trials and promo codes, and to end access when a trial or subscription ends.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

  • Landowners: when you send an inquiry, the landowner receives your name, email, home type, move-in date and message. Listing contact details you enter are shown to signed-in members with browsing access.
  • Payment processing: Square processes subscription payments and receives the information needed to complete checkout.
  • Google services: we use Google Calendar to create discovery call events (your name and email are added as an attendee and invited), Google Sheets to keep a lead and listing log that includes inquiry details (date, name, email, listing, home type, move-in date, message), and Gmail to send notification emails.
  • Hosting and platform: the app runs on the Base44 platform, which stores our data and provides sign-in and email delivery.
  • Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Cookies and analytics

We store a sign-in session and basic preferences (such as theme) on your device so the app works. We have not added our own third-party advertising or analytics tools to the app. The hosting platform may collect standard technical and usage data to operate the service.

Security

Access to data is limited by permission rules; for example, inquiries can be viewed only by the landowner they were sent to, the person who sent them, and administrators, and saved listings are visible only to the person who saved them. Payments are handled by Square. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We keep your account, listings, inquiries and saved listings until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Payment and purchase records, and entries already copied to our Google Sheet or calendar, are not removed automatically when you delete your account. We keep these for 5 years for accounting, legal and dispute purposes, then delete them. Contact us if you have questions about these records.

Your choices and account deletion

  • Access and update: you can edit your search preferences and manage your listings from your dashboard.
  • Alerts: you can turn new-listing email alerts on or off.
  • Subscription: you can cancel your subscription from your dashboard.
  • Delete your account: use the delete account option in your dashboard. This permanently deletes your account, your listings, your inquiries and your saved listings.
  • Other requests: to ask about, correct or remove other information we hold, email hello@host-a-tiny.com.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights under California privacy law, subject to legal exceptions:

  • Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, why we collected it, and who we share it with.
  • Delete: request that we delete personal information we collected from you. We may keep information we are required or permitted by law to keep, such as payment records (see Retention).
  • Correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • No retaliation: we will not deny you service or charge you different prices for exercising these rights.
  • To make a request, email hello@host-a-tiny.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Children

Host A Tiny is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
